Red Hornet Chairman’s Cup Returns For 6th Edition on December 12 At Chhun On Golf Resort

Phnom Penh will once again play host to one of the region’s most prominent charity golf events, as the Red Hornet Chairman’s Cup (RHCC) marks its sixth edition on December 12, 2025, at the Chhun On Golf Resort.


Building A Tradition Of Sport and Giving


Launched six years ago as a gathering among friends, RHCC has evolved into a fixture on Cambodia’s social and business calendar. The event brings together colleagues, partners, and international participants, fostering both professional networks and personal connections.


Last year’s tournament raised more than US$25,000 for the Kantha Bopha Foundation, which provides life-saving medical care for children in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.


“This tournament has always been about more than just golf,” said Dalton Wong, Red Hornet’s Chairman and Founder, who also serves as President of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (IndoCham). “This year we are supporting the Indonesia–Cambodia Friendship School and a scholarship program for underprivileged Cambodian students to study in China—initiatives that can impact an entire generation.”


Beneficiaries Aim To Shape Cambodia’s Future


The Indonesia–Cambodia Friendship School symbolizes cooperation between the two nations by providing access to quality education in Cambodia. Alongside, the new scholarship initiative will offer talented but financially disadvantaged Cambodian students the chance to pursue higher education in China, gaining skills and networks critical for the country’s future growth.


Tournament Experience Expands


Event management is once again led by GreenJoy Tours, which expects an even bigger turnout than last year’s 96 golfers. “The response from golfers and sponsors has been overwhelming. We’re looking forward to another year of competition, camaraderie, and giving back,” said Candra Tanpatti, Director of GreenJoy Tours.


In addition to competitive play, the event will feature a charity auction, prizes, and an outdoor dining experience designed to encourage both networking and philanthropy.
